How do I submit my assignment as a .docx file on a Mac?

Mac users will need to install Microsoft Office to save and upload assignments. Read on for step by step instructions.

Initial set up (you only need to do this once): 

Install Microsoft Office on your Mac. You can download the software for free because you have a Lake-Sumter account.

If you’re not sure how to get to your LSSC OneDrive, follow these instructions first: Accessing your OneDrive from the LSSC Website

Once Microsoft Word is installed, sign into your LSSC account.

When you need to download your file and submit your assignment:

Open Microsoft Word and save a copy of the file to your mac.

Submit your file on Canvas.
