Use Times New Roman 12 pt font or another readable font like Arial or Calibri. Double-space the entire paper. Do not include a cover sheet.

Headers

In MLA style, the headers should be at the right margin on every page. The header includes the student's last name and the page number.

Heading

The heading should be on the first page against the left margin and double-spaced. The heading includes:

• First Line: Student's full name.
• Second Line: Teacher's full name
• Third Line: Class Name
• Fourth Line: Date (in the format 15 Aug. 2015)

Use the three letter abbreviations for all months except, May, June, July and Sept.

Title of Paper

The title of the paper should be centered on the next line under the heading.

Block Quotes

If your direct quote is longer than four lines, indent ten spaces to create a block quote.
