Answer

Lake-Sumter State College

Exam Receipt and Refund Policy

This policy outlines the procedures for receiving payment confirmation and rescheduling exams administered through Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC).

Receipt of Payment

  • All examination fees must be paid online through the testing website via debit or credit card only.

  • All payments include a $3.50 Register Blast online fee.

  • Students are encouraged to keep a copy of their receipt as proof of payment. This may be required for admission to the exam.

  • All exam fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Exams will not be administered without confirmation of payment.

Refund Policy

Lake-Sumter State College does not issue refunds for any exam fees.  All payments for exams are non-refundable, including in cases of student no-shows, cancellations, or late arrivals.

Rescheduling Policy

Students who are unable to attend their scheduled exam may reschedule their appointment through the Register Blast platform without repaying for a new exam subject to the following conditions:

  • Rescheduling must be done 24 hours prior to the scheduled exam time.

  • Availability of alternative dates and times is subject to seat capacity and testing center hours.

  • They must follow the reschedule instructions on testing’s webpage.

If a student or candidate does not follow the above rescheduling policy, they will forfeit their exam fee and must re-pay for a new appointment and exam unless they provide documentation to the Director of Testing Services of emergency circumstances.

Third-Party Testing Fees

Some exams may include fees paid directly to external organizations (e.g., CLEP). Students must adhere to those providers' policies for rescheduling or refunds. LSSC does not manage or refund third-party fees.
